The original PlastiDip® made in U.S.A. is an air dry, synthetic multi-purpose rubber coating that can be easily applied by spraying, brushing or dipping. PlastiDip® resists moisture, acids, abrasion, weathering, electrical shock, skidding/slipping, corrosion; coats and gives a comfortable, controlled, color coded grip to all types of tools: lawn and garden, mechanical, electrical, woodworking, and masonry.

PlastiDip® is not just for tool handles. It can also be applied to cars, rims and:

Wood	:	seals and protects from weathering and prevents splinters
Metal	:	reduces vibration, deadens sound, prevents corrosion, insulates electrically and from extreme temperatures
Glass	:	shatterproofs glass objects (available in clear)
Rope/Fabrics	:	weatherproofs, prevents rotting and fraying
Plastics	:	protects delicate surfaces from scratches
Rubber	:	weatherproofs, wear resistant
Tools	:	gives color coded grip to all types of tools
Maps	:	weatherproofs, tear resistant (available in clear)

Flexible, air-dry synthetic rubber coating, that can be easily applied by dipping. Dip the desired number of layers. Let the coating dry for approx. 4 hours.

Depending on the intensity and duration of UV radiation, similar to a sunburn of the human skin, also the pigments of fluorescent paints and lacquers, including PlastiDip Blaze and PlastiDip Fluor products, after a shorter or longer time locally fade or discolor.

With the addition of so-called stabilizers, the process will be slowed down, but unfortunately can not be completely avoided. An additional layer of transparent PlastiDip gives extra protection against UV radiation to PlastiDip Blaze and PlastiDip Fluor coatings.

Performix advises not to remove discolored parts but locally applying an additional layer of the same color until the desired coverage and the original color is achieved. Another layer of clear PlastiDip gives additional protection against UV radiation.

Attention Due to the lack of interest in certain colors and small packages, manufacturer decided no longer producing these items. The following table shows the available colors in this packaging.

If you use a spray gun (low pressure; airless) to apply PlastiDip, you have to dilute the PlastiDip (dipping) up to 50% (= 1:1) with PlastiDip Thinner. See additional product information and related items below.
